In order to understand vintage and antique jewelry, you need to understand the terms that are used when describing costume jewelry. Listed below are only some of the many definitions that I will cover. One of my pet peeves is sellers who use inaccurate descriptions for there jewelry without researching the information. If you have ever won an auction and recieved your package and it was not what you expected?

I am constantly researching online for authentic vintage jewelry sellers. Since its my passion, I take it seriously when sellers misinterpret there jewelry. Many people shop Ebay for everything, however when I invest in a purchase online, I need as much information as possible. Clear description, to include flaws, repair work, manufacture (if known), and if all hardware is in working order.
